Speaker Bio: Wendy Meadley is the Chief Strategy Officer of the North American High Speed Rail Group. For the last year she has been meeting with federal and state officials, transportation industry leaders, legislators and citizens in and beyond Minnesota. During this time she has gleaned the insight to author a collaborative strategy that starts with private industry and includes the extensive continuum of stakeholders who “have in interest in high speed rail” and its impact on the future  success of our state and our country. Wendy has her undergrad in Communications from the University of Minnesota and her Executive MBA from the University of St Thomas. She is a career marketer and communicator beginning her career here in Minnesota working in media at The Cities 97 and WCCO. She has a global strategy consulting practice, the Social Wendy Group that serves Fortune 500 clients including 3M, and has worked with the University of Minnesota and the Citizens League. Prior to starting her own business she worked at Deluxe and Target.  She currently serves on the Expo 2023 Bid Committee Board of Directors and is Co-chair of the Cuisine Committee for MN Super Bowl LII Host Committee.
