Larry Mahoney, Owner - Asia Direct Resource
Larry Mahoney is a graduate of Ripon College. He began his career in supply chain management as a lieutenant in the U.S. Army Transportation Corps, serving in Danang Vietnam in 1968 and 1969. Larry managed supply chain in corporate America with the Gillette Company, Munsingwear, Lee Data and Spearhead Industries, where he began business operations in China in 1984.

In 1994, Mahoney started his own company, International Marketing Resource, which has morphed into Asia Direct Resource with offices and staff in China and agents throughout Asia. Mahoney has 25 years of successful business experience in China.

Chris Russell, Operations Manager - Zinpro Corporation International 
Chris Russell has been leading the development and management of Zinpro's non-US manufacturing operations as well as managing Zinpro's participation in foreign joint-venture operations, since 2014. Prior to that, he served as Kalsec's Director of the Global Advanced Hops Manufacturing for Kalamazoo and China. An international business professional since 1998, Russell also worked on designing and planning the operations systems for a new China Manufacturing Plant Designed around meeting the value drivers for the customer while developing a culture of Lean thinking and problem solving.
Rodney Hiel, Managing Director - Asia Business Consulting
Rodney Hiel has been Asia Business Consulting's managing director for the past 10 years. In this position, he has helped research, develop and tactically execute processes that create cost effective strategies for new product development and market entry in Southeast Asia and China. In 2013, he also became president of U.S. China Business Connections (UCBC), a nonprofit organization. UCBC provides small and mid-sized companies, organizations and individuals with an educational forum and experiential exchange that focuses on business relationships between the U.S. and China.

SMEI International includes 27 U.S.-based chapters with locations in China, Mexico, Puerto Rico, India, Japan and Europe. The SMEI Minnesota chapter is the only internationally accredited sales and marketing chapter of Sales & Marketing Executives International in the state, and is targeted towards senior management in sales and marketing. The SMEI Minnesota chapter was started to take advantage of the long standing principles and benefits provided by the SMEI International Association. The local chapter has aligned itself with SMEI's five founding principles, it provides certification opportunities offered through SMEI, and utilizes the international resources well needed in this global marketplace. In addition, the local chapter, working closely with SMEI international, provides many other benefits as determined to be important to better serve the members, students, businesses, and communities in Minnesota.
